Help with Presly — the attendance and leave service for Discord and Slack, operated by Abersoft.

Last updated 13 July 2026

Need a hand with Presly? This page covers how to reach us and how to do the most common things. Most day-to-day questions ("how do I check in?", "how much leave do I have left?") are answered right inside chat — see Using Presly below.

Contact us

The fastest way to reach the Presly team is by email. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri, WIB / Asia Jakarta).

For questions about your own attendance records, schedule, leave quota, or account access, your workspace administrator is usually the quickest first stop — they configure schedules, holidays, timezones, and approvals for your organization.

Using Presly

Presly works the same way on Discord and Slack. On working days it sends you a direct message to Check In and Check Out — just tap the button. You can also use slash commands at any time. To see the full list, run /help on Discord or /presly-help on Slack.

Everyday commands

  • /check-in · /check-out — mark today's attendance (no button needed).
  • /attendance — your recent attendance and today's status.
  • /leave-balance — your annual-leave quota, used, and remaining.
  • /leave-status — the status of your leave requests.
  • Discord /leave · Slack /presly-leave — open the form to submit a leave request.
  • Discord /help · Slack /presly-help — list every command.

Why the different names on Slack? Slack reserves /leave and /help for its own built-in commands, so on Slack those two are /presly-leave and /presly-help. Everything else is identical on both platforms. All times are shown in WIB (Asia/Jakarta).

Common questions

  • I didn't get my check-in message. Make sure you allow direct messages from the server/workspace, and that an admin has marked you as monitored. A missed message never counts as an absence on its own — tell your admin, who can re-send it.
  • I checked in late — can it be fixed? Attendance status (present/late) is based on your group's schedule. Ask your administrator to review it if something looks wrong.
  • My leave request is stuck. Requests route to your group's approver(s). Use /leave-status to see where it is; your approver or admin can act on it.

See the FAQ for more.

For administrators

Admins manage everything from the web portal after signing in. Common tasks:

  • Add or link people — sync members from Discord, and map each person's Slack ID (Members → Edit → Slack user ID) so they get DMs and can use commands on Slack too.
  • Schedules & holidays — set per-group check-in/out times, workdays, timezones, grace periods, and holidays.
  • Leave & approvals — configure quotas and multi-step approval flows, and review the audit log and DM-delivery log.
