Terms of Service

The rules for using Presly — the Discord-native attendance and leave service operated by Abersoft.

Last updated 13 July 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Presly (the "Service"), operated by Abersoft ("we", "us"). By signing in to Presly or using any of its Discord commands, buttons, or the web portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Presly is

Presly is a daily attendance and leave-approval tool that runs inside Discord. It sends each monitored member a direct message on working days to Check In and Check Out, skips weekends, holidays, and approved leave, routes multi-step leave approvals, and provides an administrator and employee web portal. Presly is provided to organizations ("workspaces") whose administrator has enabled it for their Discord server.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You need a valid Discord account to use Presly. Your identity in Presly is your Discord account; we do not create separate passwords.
  • You are added to Presly by your workspace administrator. Your role (employee, approver, or admin) and the features you can access are set by that administrator.
  • You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure. Activity performed through your account is treated as yours.

3. Acceptable use

When using Presly you agree not to:

  • Submit attendance, leave, or approval records that you know to be false or misleading;
  • Attempt to access data, records, or administrative functions you are not authorized to use;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service;
  • Use the Service in violation of Discord's own Terms of Service or any applicable law.

4. Your organization's role

Presly is administered by your organization. Your workspace administrators configure schedules, holidays, timezones, leave quotas, and approval flows, and can view attendance and leave records for their members. For questions about how your organization uses attendance data, please contact your administrator. In data-protection terms, your organization is the controller of that data and Abersoft processes it on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep Presly available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may schedule maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service. Because Presly depends on Discord's platform and APIs, interruptions to Discord may affect it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that records will always be delivered or recorded on time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abersoft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Attendance and leave decisions remain the responsibility of your organization and its administrators.

8. Suspension and termination

Your access ends if your workspace administrator removes you, if your organization stops using Presly, or if you leave the Discord server. We may suspend access where necessary to protect the Service or comply with the law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
